Tribute to Fine Lady

Today I want to tribute this page to one of the sweetest ladies that ever lived. MARY KATHERINE BRYANT left this earth on 12/12/08 and is now rejoicing with our dear sweet, sweet Jesus. She was a best friend that always had the ear to listen and sometimes give advice, but always saw the good in a situation no matter how bad is was. She fought a long hard battle but never gave up even when she felt her worse. She was the hostess in the kitchen at our church. She always made sure that everyone was taken care of. She and her husband had been married for 62 1/2 years. He is going to be lost. I know that the Lord though will take him by the hand and lead him each step every day. Please keep him in your prayers. I know that whether she knew it or not, she has left a good example to others with the life that she lived. She touched more people than she will ever know. So long Kat, I will see you again.

Snow, Snow and More Snow

I am a little behind on writing. Just thought that I would share some of the snow pictures from last Thursday 12/11. I left my house heading to work. It was snowing at my house and the drive to work took 1 hour where it usually takes 30 minutes. I get to work and no snow and we get no snow all day. Really strange. Isn't it Beautiful?

Just Another Day

Yesterday was just another day at work. Nothing to really talk about. I seem to be having a problem this time of year of getting in the selling mood. I have to do it because I have to get my quota in order to get my commission. So I guess I am going to have to put a little fire under me and get in the mood. I did go by and see my friend Kay after work for a minute. She would not let me take a picture though. I will get one sooner or later I guess on her time. That's not any phone though. I did get some pictures of her puppy Lexie. She is so beautiful and very sweet. I took a picture of her husband Ronnie coming in from work but decided not to post it because it wasn't very good and I don't think he would have been happy with me. Other than that, I went home and got ready for a new day to start today. Hope you all have a wonderful day today.

Thanksgiving Holidays

Well, I am a little behind on writing. Thanksgiving has been kind of busy. We had Thanksgiving lunch and supper with the Lee's and Carney's. I will be posting some pictures a little bit later. We had such a wonderful time just being able to spend time together. All of Don and Marilyn Lee's family was there and all of Henry and Joyce Carney's family was there. Don brought Aunt Katheryn from the living center to be with us too. Mother and I also had mamaw from the living center too. Mamaw and Aunt Catherine really enjoyed themselves. They said the food was much better then the living center. I would seem to agree. The fellowship together as well as the food was great. John and JJ Carney and family left after lunch headed up to Ole Miss for the ballgame the next day. What about those Rebels? I hear they are headed for the bowl game. Brandon left to go hunting after eating. It is that time of the year. You just can't keep those men out of the woods. All in all everything was wonderful.
On Friday, I did all my Christmas shopping on line. I was able to get a lot of really good deals. I even got the Black Friday Sale prices that the stores were offering. It sure was nice not to have to fight the crowd. Just hated the dial up part. That kept me busy all day.
On Saturday, I started some of my Christmas cooking. Can't do much. Still to early. I did get two batches of sausage balls rolled up and put in the freezer. My sister has put her order in for those.
On Sunday, I went to church and had a good service. After church I got to spend a little time with Sara Madalin in the sanctuary after everyone was leaving. That little girl is just a prize. I got on the floor with her and was trying to help her learn to crawl. I think that every time she sees me, she is probably going to say, OH NO, here comes that crazy woman. Reagan and Malinda are so blessed to have this special gift and well as Sara Madalin having them as parents.
We left church and went to eat at Sudies. After lunch, we went and spent the afternoon with mamaw at the living center. First Baptist brought the youth choir to sing a few Christmas songs and ya'll they were good. They harmonized so good and the residents at the living center thoroughly enjoyed it. I did too. I then went home and made a great big pot of homemade chili that my sister gave me the recipe to and boy was it good and hot. Whew! I made enough that I could carry some to work on Monday to share with the girls.
Well, Monday started another work week. Probably want be much to talk about this week. I think everyone enjoyed the chili. I will let you know if anything exciting happens.

Here are some pictures of Thanksgiving.
